Steelaway Silveena "Sophie" X Ch Pennydown Brigadoon "Brig"

Sophie had her kittens on the morning of Easter Monday 17th April. Unfortunately there were only two and they were very big. The larger one was stillborn so Sophie only has the one kitten. It is the first time we have lost a kitten and it is really upsetting. I guess these things happen. The girl kitten is very strong and Sophie is being a good mum as usual. She keeps looking for the other one and can't understand why he is not there.

	She has already doubled her birth weight and her eyes are opening. This little girl is now reserved.

Caterina is a great talker and already knows how to get what she wants. She mews to be picked up and have her tummy tickled as she lies in your arms, paws in the air. She is eating solid foods well and growing fast. She loves playing with paper balls and likes them being thrown for her to chase. Unlike her mum though she does not bring them back to you yet. She comes and stands in front of you, mewing for you to go and get it !! I think she is training us not the other way around ! Sophie, her mum, is playing with her a lot; probably because she has no playmates being an only kitten.
13 Weeks Caterina is now living with Sheryl.
