In
December
2003
we
had
outside
accommodation
built
for
Sophie
so
she
can
move
between
the
house
and
the
outside
in
complete
safety.
The
enclosure
is
attached
to
low
windows
of
the
house
and
opening
these
gives
Sophie
access.
The
panels
are
doubled
wired
with
half
inch
mesh
at
two
inch
spacing.
This
ensures
no
roaming
cats
can
get
near
her
and
she
is
completely
safe
from
their
attentions
!
Shelving
has
been
put
all
around
so
Sophie
can
look
down
on
the
world
and
into
the
neighbours
gardens
!
There
are
also
a few
nice
suntraps
for
her
to
lie
out
in
come
the
summer
months
as
well
as
sheltered
areas.
Branches
for
scratching
and
climbing
are
screwed
into
place.
We
have
deliberately
made
the
enclosure
quite
large
so we
can
accommodate
more
than
one
cat.
We
have
the
option
to
build
a
stud
house
at
the
other
end
in
due
course.
Sophie
is
loving
the
extra
freedom
even
in
the
cold
winter
weather
and
we
feel
she
now
has
the
best
of
both
worlds.
Complete
safety
and
fresh
air.
